AGM 2022 – Sunday 16th January
This years AGM will be held virtually on Teams. If you would like an invite, please email Joel (chair): [email protected]
19:00 – 19:45 AGM: Chair and Treasurer’s reports on 2021, Election of officers, AOB.
19:45 – 20:30 Brief Committee Meeting to set goals for 2022.
The AGM is your opportunity to have a say on who is running of our club.
The following reports have been prepared for the meeting. To save time, participants are asked to review these in advance. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the meeting, but we want to avoid reading through the reports if possible:

This will be followed by elections to the committee for 2022. It would be great to see some new people getting involved this year – if you’ve got any ideas on how we can make our club run please consider getting involved:
– Our club has healthy reserves, a strong membership, established access to grant funding, and a history of innovation, the ideal platform for change or new projects.
– The administrative burden of being on the committee is low, most decisions are proposed and discussed via email and, more often than not, reach consensus quickly. Our committee meetings tend simply to be an opportunity to share divisional success / challenges and are generally 90 minutes every couple of months.
– You can chose to hold a specific role, or just to be part of the committee.
– You get to work with a bunch of people who are collaborative and all share a love of the club and a desire to see everyone in it have the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
At the AGM, all roles are up for grabs and it’s really healthy for there to be some shuffling about and to have new people bringing new ideas to the committee. If multiple people apply for one role, it will be put to a vote at the AGM. Please note that only current members can vote.
