Help make our beach a safer place this October…

This October half term we’re hoping to do something truly amazing at Trevaunance Cove. Our aim is to run a voluntary lifeguard service, keeping visitors and locals at our beach safe through preventative advice and incident response.

If you’ve got a lifeguard / first aid / first responder qualification, hold the Junior Gold Award or attended the observational lifeguard course this is your chanceĀ  to utilise your skills for the benefit of our community.

If you don’t currently hold any of these awards but have an interest in making out beach a safer place for everyone, please get in touch. In just one evening you can learn skills that will enhance your ability to be effective in your response to an emergency and, if you want to take it further, remember that the club will fund training for members who commit to helping out with our coaching or patrols.

Our proposed dates are: Saturday 20 October to Sunday 28 October.
Shifts are Ā½ day / 1 day / 2 hours.
Those doing a full day will have lunch expenses covered.

Please get in touch with your preferred dates / times.
