MAX HOCKING 18TH JUNE HAYLE
Max Hocking was a lifelong member of St Agnes club, one of the founder clubs of SLSGB, and was involved in surf life saving for most of his adult life. He was a lovely man, passionate about life saving and an inspiration to all who knew him. His legacy continues through the Max Hocking event and the Nipper movement
This is a great event for our Nippers who have never competed before and those that have to enter and have a super fun day, as those that have taken part over t…he years will testify. All Nippers born in 2009 and older participate in different events include wading races, nipper board races, lots of relays and beach games including sprints. It is also a great opportunity for Nippers to meet and socialise with other Nippers from clubs throughout Cornwall.
This year it will be held at Hayle on the 18th of June all day, more details to follow.
As this is in memory of one of our former members it would be great if we could get as many of our Nippers taking part. Those that did it last year thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.
